The next Goop?
Well, it finally happened: The Kardashians tossed their hat into the $4.2 trillion wellness ring.
On Tuesday, eldest child Kourtney announced a new lifestyle and e-commerce destination called Poosh. It has stuff like clean beauty recs, self-care tips, healthy recipes, and a “spotlight” on turmeric. The glossy site melds the service journalism of Well+Good with the aspirational price point of Goop--but with way more gratuitous butt imagery.
“Healthy living is a mindset, and Poosh explores how the modern woman is able to achieve just this,” reads the site. “We’re not about preaching or judging, we’re about exploring and conversing.”
Unlike its competitors, Poosh doesn’t really cite experts, nutritionists, or spiritual gurus. Instead, it’s meant to come across as personal recommendations from Kourtney herself. Except, it doesn’t. Poosh lacks Kourtney’s personality or really any point of view; it’s quite obvious it’s 100% ghost-written.
